Changedfiles Version: 1.0-rc1
A framework for simple filesystem replication and/or security monitoring and/or automatic file transformations -- essentially any application where one would poll files or directories and either do things to them or send them out. The changedfiles system consists of two parts:

:: A kernel module (Linux 2.4 only) that reports to a device special whenever a file on the filesystem changes.

:: A daemon that runs in user space that can be configured to do almost any action when a file matching the patterns it is looking for is changed. The daemon also supports real-time in-process FTP mirroring. It also can act as a MySQL database client.

The current release should be stable on single or multi processor Alpha, PowerPPC, and Intel Linux systems running kernel versions > 2.4., but should still be considered a development release.
